An opportunity awaits an experienced customer service or allied health professional with an optical background to join our national Vision Store Services team.  Vision Store offer the best low vision and accessible technology products and services to our customers by understanding their requirements and lifestyle needs. Responsibilities 

As an Retail Service Coordinator at Vision Australia you will contribute to our community by :

  • Managing your own Vision Store & Tech Hub within Vision Australia;
  • Achieving budget sales of new or additional technology and/or aids through multiple channels in a national team;
  • Managing general customer inquiries including Zendesk, in store and phone
  • Providinge timely quotes and support for internal and external customers; especially for NDIS and My Aged Care;
  • Conduct initial technology needs assessments for a variety of situations and environments including schools, homes, and workplaces for Tech Hub customers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Orthoptics, Optometry with registrations through appropriate accreditation bodies desirable;
  • Optical Dispensing which requires a certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or equivalent desirable;
  • Experience in sales, preferably of optical aids, medical equipment or assistive technology;
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills;
  • Influencing skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
