We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Administration support officer to join our team in Ballarat.

Responsibilities

As an Administration Support Officer at Vision Australia you will provide support to the Regional Manager and service delivery team and provide advice and information to our clients. Your days will be full and varied managing tasks from:

  • Organising meetings and functions
  • General receptionist duties
  • Arranging client appointments and liaising with our volunteers
  • Responding to customer queries, managing  appointments, travel bookings, and invoicing

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be positive and enthusiastic with a strong attention to detail and a flair for learning new systems and processes
  • Have a fun and dynamic personality with the resilience and  ability to manage competing demands
  • Have a collaborative approach which ensures you achieve positive client outcomes
  • Ideally have an understanding of issues relating to blindness and low vision
