Vision Australia is a leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. We work in partnership with Australians who are blind or have low vision to help them achieve the possibilities they choose in life.

We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

An exciting opportunity awaits a Program Coordinator to join our Career Vision team in Coorparoo.


As an Career Vision Program Coordinator at Vision Australia you will:

  • Implement the career visions program for identified Vision Australia Clients.
  • In collaboration with the trainer plan, deliver and assess modules in Certificate I in Business based on current industry practice and student needs.
  • Plan, develop and deliver training sessions for job search skills.
  • Coordinate the pre-enrolment process in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Vision Australia RTO policy and procedure.
  • Organise employment placements for all participants.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the Training and Education Training Package or demonstrated equivalent competence.
  • Relevant vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered/ assessed.
  • Current industry skills directly relevant to the training/ assessment being undertaken.
  • An understanding of employment placement for people with a disability
  • Delivering and assessing nationally recognised units of competency.
