About who we support

Vision Australia provides services to more than 25,500 people clients from 35 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

About the role

  • Conduct evaluation of the needs of the client and their family, in keeping with the level of service and items defined in the NDIS plan and Vision Australia service delivery.
  • Using developed clinical knowledge and skills to support families to prepare for planning meetings with the NDIS and service planning within Vision Australia.
  • Overseeing and support of case reviews for complex clients in line with Service Excellence advice and assisting to coordinate case conferences within and external to Vision Australia.
  • Support complex clients for scheduled and unscheduled NDIS plan reviews.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in, Allied Health, and/or related behavioural sciences at degree level with substantial experience.
  • Current registration with APRHA and/or eligibility for membership with your professional body;
  • Experience in Paediatric discipline specific clinical service provision;Experience in coordinating responsive individualised support to participants with complex needs and their families.
  • Demonstrated skill in establishing empowering and supportive partnerships with clients and their families with complex needs, with the ability to maintain resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma.
