About who we support

Vision Australia provides services to more than 25,500 people clients from 35 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

About the role

  • Lead the Technology support for all clients in your allocated territory;
  • Organise and attend regional exhibitions displaying, demonstrating and disseminating information on all products;
  • Organise and conduct promotional training and hands-on overview on technology for key groups and individuals who are prospective customers;
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts in blindness agencies in my territory through conferences, expo’s, consultancy and training.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Formal qualification or recent experience such as: Optical Dispensing Diploma, Orthoptist, Optometry, Aged Care or Occupational Therapy;
  • Specialised Blindness and Low Vision Technology Skills;
  • Evidence of up-to-date comprehensive product knowledge resulting in successful sales to meet customer needs;
  • A proven track record of meeting sales goals demonstrating a highly ethical and consultative approach to selling.
